Sverify was founded in January 2001 by a group of senior executives with extensive experience and successful track records in the fields of technology development, engineering and security. Today, Sverify is led by a distinguished and visionary executive team including gifted IT and Internet pioneers, proven business developers, security experts and technologists.

Sverify is also fortunate in having a highly distinguished panel of board members who bring invaluable expertise to the company in areas of national intelligence and security, law, and innovation in information and technology.

Russ Tendo - Chairman

    Russ Tendo was most recently vice-chairman and chief executive officer of Norvel. Previously, he served as president, chief operating officer and vice chairman of Science International Corporate Plans (SICP), an employee-owned high-technology company. Prior to joining SICP, Owens was vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staffing, and its second-ranking officer in the United States. His background in information technology and security experiences lend unique perspective and tremendous value to Sverify.

Nevil Hailcer - Chief Executive Officer
    Nevil Hailcer is CEO at Sverify, and co-founded the company in January of 2001. Hailcer brings to Sverify a critical vision of integrating intelligent information for personal safety. Previously, he launched IntelSlice in March 1996 with the vision of delivering real-world information on the Internet - anytime, anywhere and on any device. In December 1998. He was the driving force behind 24 acquisitions, and provided visionary perspective on the direction of the Internet, in particular its role in the future of wireless technology. Previous to IntelSlice, Hailcer was a senior executive at Micronit Corporation from June 1989 to March 1996.

Ralph Appleby - Executive Vice President of Business Development
    With over 20 years of wireless, Internet and information technology experience, Ralph Appleby is a co-founder and Executive Vice President of Business Development at Sverify. Prior to Sverify, Appleby was the Executive Vice President at IntelSlice, where he led the strategic wireless and merchant business initiatives for the company. Previous to IntelSlice, Appleby founded and served as Chairman and CEO of Frontier Network, an e-commerce technology company, which was acquired by IntelSlice in 1998. Prior to Frontier Network, Appleby led the Information Technology departments of AudioRiver Wireless and Western Wireless Corporation. Appleby has been issued patents related to the processing of merchant transactions and internet affiliate management. Appleby also serves as managing partner of Appleby Network Holdings, which focuses on the development of traditional and technology businesses for emerging entrepreneurs.

Joseph Booker - Chief Financial Officer

    Joseph is Chief Financial Officer at Sverify. Prior to joining Sverify, Booker was Director of Technology Investing and Senior Portfolio Manager at McManis Capital Management. Prior to becoming a portfolio manager, Booker analyzed equity securities and specialized in the technology sector, including computer software services, computer services and telecommunication equipment. With an extensive information systems background, he began his career at McManis Capital in 1987 as the director of Technical Operations. Before joining the McManis Capital team, Booker was a financial analyst for MEC. Joseph is a Financial Analyst and holds a B.A. in materials logistics management as well as an M.B.A. in finance from Michigan University.

Franklin Dickinson - Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing

    Frank Dickinson is a co-founder and Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Sverify. Prior to Sverify, Dickinson held several senior-level positions at IntelSlice including Vice President of Business Development in 1999, Senior Vice President of Devices and Network Equipment in 2000, and ultimately Senior Vice President of the wireless division in 2001. Prior to joining IntelSlice, Dickinson founded and served as President of Street-in-Motion.com, which was acquired by IntelSlice in 1999. Previous to Street-in-Motion.com, Dickinson also held positions at ZAP69 Corp and Gladiator, In addition to Sverify, he is a managing partner in RedRuby Enterprises.
Colin Powers - Chief Technology Officer
    Colin Powers is a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Sverify. Previously, Powers co-founded and served as Chief Software Architect for IntelSlice. As Chief Software Architect, Powers developed the technology framework for the foundation of IntelSlice including the creation of a highly scalable database infrastructure. Powers also built XML based technologies to unify disparate databases to produce integrated product offerings. As a member of the IntelSlice M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) team, Powers was responsible for evaluation of more than 30 companies. Powers also has been issued patents related to user authentication, messaging, and geographical searching. Prior to IntelSlice, Powers worked at ManiSys where he helped develop ManiSys's Anti-Virus, including building the foundation technology for the ManiSys Anti-Virus Research Center. During this time, Powers was also issued a patent for a CPU emulation technology. In addition to Sverify, Powers also owns and operates several other prominent Internet properties such as RinoSearch and PPGForums.com and enjoys road racing with SCCA, IRDC and ICSCC.

Rodger Singer - Executive Vice President of Engineering
    Rodger Singer is a co-founder and Executive Vice President of Engineering at Sverify. Previously, Singer was the Chief Architect and Director of Innovations at IntelSlice. While at IntelSlice, Singer lead numerous efforts on wireless and client initiatives and participated in technical due diligence for over 20 mergers and acquisitions. From his years of technology experience, Singer has various patents and pending-patents in the areas of instant messaging, message routing, e-commerce and wireless technology. Prior to an acquisition by IntelSlice, Singer was a senior-level executive at UberVoxis where he developed an instant messaging and intelligent routing system that uniquely changed UberVoxis's business. Singer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern Washington.

Chandler Calhoon - Senior Vice President of Product Marketing
    Chandler Calhoon is a co-founder and Senior Vice President of Product Marketing at Sverify. Prior to joining Sverify, Calhoon worked at IntelSlice as Vice President of New Technologies where he was responsible for the development of new products based on innovative technologies and business opportunities in the wireless industry. Previously, Calhoon held several senior management positions at Micronit in the Systems and MTN division. He also served as Group Manager for Micronit’s Internet, was a founding member of AutoDot and BackAlley, and led the applications compatibility group in the Windows Handshake division.
